Tara na sa simbahan sa Quiapo!

Halina’t magdasal at humiling! Hindi magiging kumpleto ang paglibot mo sa Maynila kung hindi mo madadama at mapupuntahan ang isa sa Pinaka kilalang simbahan ng mga katoliko sa Pilipinas walang iba kundi ang ‘Quiapo Church’.


Saming pagpasok sa simbahan, kapansin pansin ang mga taong nakaluhod mula sa entrance ng pituan papuntang altar ng simbahan. Tunay na napakadeboto ng mga Pilipino sa ating mga paniniwala. Ang simabahang ito ay talagang dinadayo ng mga pinoy kahit saan man sila nakatira sa Pilipinas, maraming paniniwala na kapag dito ka nagdasal at humiling tiyak na matutupad kahit nga mga sikat na artista ay dumadayo dito. Kaya’t aming napnsin na walang pinipiling oras ang pagdagsa g tao sa simahan.

Ang simbahang ito naitayo noong 1586 sa pangunguna ng mga pransiskanong misyonero na pinamunuan ni Pedro Bautista na simpleng bahay kubo pa lamang noon ngunit sa paglipas ng panahon unti unti itong lumaki. Dito rin nakalagay ang imahe ng Poong Nazereno na talagang dinadayo ng mga Pilipino lalo na kapag sumasapit ang pista nito tuwing January na. “Hindi mahulugang karayom” ganyan kung ilarawan ang mga hindi baba sa sampung milyong deboto na dumadayo taon taon sa pista na galing pa sa iba’t ibang lugar.

How to go to Quiapo via commuter lane:

1.Ride a bus taking you to Buendia LRT.


2.Ride a van with a sign board "Morayta, UST, España, Quiapo" and just tell the driver you are headed to Quiapo Church.


Other alternative Route:


A.

1.If you are commuting using the Light Rail Transit (LRT) line 1, get off at Carriedo station.


2.From Carriedo station, you will get to Quiapo Church by walking eastward.


B.

1. If you are commuting using the Light Rail Transit (LRT) line 2, you just need to get off at Recto station that is the last station of LRT-2.


2. From there you just need to walk toward the corner of C.M. Recto and Quezon Boulevard where you will see the Isetann Mall. 3.From the Isetann Mall you walk southward to get to the Quiapo Church.


C.

1. If you are commuting using the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) line 3, you should get off at the last station that is Taft station.


2. Walk towards the connecting crossway that links MRT-3 to LRT-1 and go to EDSA station


3. Then in EDSA station, ride a train north bound or Monumento/ Roosevelt bound and get off at Carriedo station. 4.Walk yourself for a few meters eastward to get to Quiapo Church.
